Korean Soldier Leaves Military Base To Watch Avengers: Endgame, Gets Arrested Outside Theatre!
A solider in South Korea has been arrested for going missing from the army base in order to watch the movie. He was one of the 18 eighteen soldiers of South Korea&rsquot Republic of Korea Air Force.
Let¡¯s just admit Avengers: Endgame is the biggest film of the year, and people have done crazy things to watch the movie. Like this woman hailing from London who postponed her childbirth to watch the movie, or people who literally thrashed the man who shouted spoilers outside the cinema hall.
In New York, an English teacher is using the film as a tool to ensure students behave properly. She is threatening students to give spoilers if they don¡¯t behave. And guess what? The trick is working as well. (Also, kids go and watch the movie. Why haven¡¯t you watched it yet?)
The crazy fandom surrounding Avengers: Endgame has reached new heights after a solider in South Korea has been arrested for going missing from the army base in order to watch the movie. Yes, that happened!
So, just when it was time to leave the army base and go out on public service duty, this soldier went AWOL. Officials went berserk trying to find him out.
They finally found the taxi driver who had dropped him to the cinema hall, and hence, got to know about his whereabouts. So, when after watching the three-hour film, the soldier came out, he was arrested.
¡°I wanted to see the Avengers movie so I ran away from the site while we were standing by,¡± he said, according to the New York Post.
¡°We will enforce our training so the soldiers assigned to public welfare activity can focus on their mission,¡± said the Korean military spokesperson.
He was one of the 18 eighteen soldiers of South Korea¡¯s Republic of Korea Air Force, where military service is compulsory for men between the age of 18 and 28.
