On his podcast Collect Call with Suge Knight, the infamous record executive made explosive allegations surrounding a 2001 nightclub shooting. Suge Knight - who was sentenced to 28 years in prison for manslaughter in the death of Terry Carter - claimed that Jennifer Lopez was aware of Diddy's Combs' involvement in the incident but remained tight-lipped. According to Knight, Lopez and Diddy quietly shifted the blame onto rapper Shyne, who was subsequently convicted, imprisoned, and eventually deported.

¡°They [the FBI] go raid Puffy¡¯s house, and they get all these videos of JLo doing this and JLo doing that,¡± Knight said in the podcast before adding, ¡°And they know the fact that JLo lied and said that the gun was Shyne¡¯s or whatever and sent that man to prison, destroyed his life, and she knew it was Puffy¡¯s.¡±

Knight then linked this incident to Jenny on the Block's high-profile divorce from her husband Ben Affleck, suggesting the FBI discovered the tapes where Lopez admits to knowing about the 2001 shooting case. He claimed that the investigating agency also showed those tapes to Affleck which eventually caused a rift between the pair. ¡°I¡¯m quite sure they said, ¡®We want to show you some things about your wife,¡¯¡± Knight alleged.

After months of speculations of separation visible during their public spotting, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck ended their marriage in August. According to a Page Six report, JLo listed 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for her split from her Gigli co-star.
