In a candid conversation with GQ, Nicole Kidman revealed that she often wakes up in the middle of the night, overcome with emotion, as she grapples with the realities of mortality and the pain of losing her parents.
"Mortality. Connection. Life coming and hitting you," she told the magazine. "And loss of parents and raising children and marriage and all of the things that go into making you a fully sentient human. I'm in all of those places. So life is, whew. It's definitely a journey."
Nicole Kidman, 57, opened up about her emotional struggles, taking a deep, dramatic breath as she shared that the reality of mortality and losing loved ones "hits you as you get older." She described the experience as "waking up at 3 am, crying and gasping" ¨C a pain she chooses to confront head-on, saying, "I'm in it. Fully in it."
