While Spider-Man: No Way Home is breaking box office records, the makers don't want its fans to go through separation trauma. Amid the hype and frenzy around the film, Marvel Studios chief creative officer Kevin Feige who was a producer on all Spider-Man films under Marvel Cinematic Universe has revealed that Spider-Man 4 is already on cards.
Marvel Studios president and Marvel's chief creative officer Kevin Feige revealed in an interview to The New York Times, "Amy and I and Disney and Sony are talking about ¡ª yes, we're actively beginning to develop where the story heads next, which I only say outright because I don't want fans to go through any separation trauma like what happened after [Spider-Man:] Far From Home [in 2019]. That will not be occurring this time".
For the unversed, Feige was referring to the tiff between Sony and Disney over co-production agreement.
Wondering when Spider-Man 4 will be released? Considering how there has always been a two-year gap between the previous films, the next installment will likely arrive in 2023.
"At the end of the movie we just made, you see Spider-Man make a momentous decision, one that you've never seen him make before. It's a sacrifice. And that gives us a lot to work with for the next film,¡± Sony Pictures chairman Amy Pascal told the publication.
Meanwhile, in just four days after release, Spider-Man: No Way Home has already crossed Rs 100-crore mark at the Indian box office. The movie is churning our huge numbers at the global box office as well.
