Days after the man who created the deepfake video of Rashmika Mandanna and circulated it on social media to gain followers was arrested, now Hollywood pop icon Taylor Swift's AI pictures have made their way on social media.

The deepfake pornographic picture of the singer-songwriter has violated her autonomy, and this has left her fans in shock.
Fans are angry at Taylor Swift's AI photos circulating online
The images have outraged her fans, fondly called Swifties who are taking a stand against this. Now they share unrelated content and flood social media to bury the AI-generated picture, which has become a trend on X as "Taylor Swift AI".
As per reports, the legal system is not prepared for this. MSNBC reports, "there is no such [federal] crime that covers AI-generated nudes".
In a similar incident, Scarlett Johanson had taken legal action against an AI app that used her name and likeness in an online advertisement without her consent. "We do not take these things lightly. Per our usual course of action in these circumstances, we will deal with it with all legal remedies that we will have," said the actress¡¯s lawyer in a statement to Variety.
Bollywood stars' deepfake videos
Furthermore, a lot of Bollywood stars have also become a victim of AI-generated deepfake content. After Rashmika Mandanna's video, several other celebrities including Katrina Kaif, Kajol and Sara Tendulkar became victim of the same.
"To increase followers, he created a deepfake video of the actor. Due to this deepfake video, the fan following of this page increased from 90,000 to 1,08,000 within two weeks," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations) Hemant Tiwari said.
The Police revealed that his followers increased from 90,000 to 108,000 within two weeks after he posted the deepfake video.
