Best known for her role in Mad Max: Fury Road and Fantastic Beasts, Zoe Kravitz, who was once told she is too ¡°urban¡± for The Dark Knight Rises has finally landed herself the role of the new Catwoman in upcoming Matt Reeves¡¯ The Batman, which stars Robert Pattinson in the titular role.
Previously A-listers including Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway and Michelle Pfeiffer have portrayed the role of Catwoman, who is both Batman¡¯s foe and love interest in the comic books. Interestingly, Zoe Kravitz had voiced Catwoman in 2017's The Lego Batman Movie.
For the unversed, a couple of months ago it was announced that Robert Pattinson will be playing the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman in a new Batman trilogy directed by Matt Reeves.

Matt Reeves, who is directing The Batman, has previously helmed the last two sequels of Planet of the Apes. Earlier, Ben Affleck, who has played Batman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League before he retired from the role, was supposed to direct the standalone movie. However, he stepped down and was then replaced by Reeves a couple of years ago.
