Actor Bala said getting married to him was a childhood dream of his bride, Kokila. He highlighted that he will find support in Kokila amid his battle with a myriad of health issues. Bala was previously married to singer Amrutha Suresh.
Malayalam and Tamil actor Bala has tied the knot again, this time with his relative Kokila. Reportedly, it's his fourth marriage. The wedding took place on October 23 at around 8.30 am at the Kaloor Pavakulam temple in Kerala's Ernakulam. The event was an intimate affair with only close friends and family in attendance.
Bala gets married to Kokila
Bala got married to his relative, Kokila, on October 23 in a hush-hush ceremony. Their wedding was attended by friends and relatives. The bride is a relative of Bala; however, their relationship to one another before marriage is not known. The bride is from Tamil Nadu but does not speak Malayalam, per media reports.

'I believe this will go well'
Speaking to the media personnel after the ceremony, Bala said, ¡°I believe this will go well. I am confident about this as she is a relative of mine.¡± He added, "I wish my mother could have been here to celebrate with us. She's 74 and in poor health, but she really wanted to attend. This marriage fulfils a dream that Kokila has held onto since her youth."
Requesting everyone to shower them with blessings, he further told the reporters, "We welcome any blessings from those who wish to give them. Although Kokila doesn't speak Malayalam, she has been a great support to me as my health has improved over the past year."
Bala indirectly spoke about his marriage with his followers on Facebook, a Mathrubhumi report revealed. He said, "I also felt the need for support after my liver transplant. I had said in an earlier interview that I'm confident when I'm on my own. I am now taking care of my diet and taking medicine. My health has improved, and it is possible to move forward in good condition. Bless with your heart if you can."
Bala's arrest days before his wedding
Just a few days before his marriage, Bala was arrested by the Kadavanthra police after his first wife and singer Amrutha Suresh filed a complaint against him, accusing the actor of insulting her through social media and manipulating their daughter. He was released on bail with two sureties of ?25,000 each after being charged with outraging the modesty of a woman, along with additional charges under juvenile justice laws.

Bala first got married to Amrutha Suresh. They share a daughter, Avantika. However, the couple got divorced, citing irreconcilable differences. After their divorce, he got married to Elizabeth Udayan; however, their marriage was not registered. Details related to his third marriage are not known.
