The film will premiere directly on Netflix, although the official release date is yet to be announced.
As per PeepingMoon, the movie is expected to start streaming in early 2026.
Directed by Break Ke Baad filmmaker Danish Aslam, the film stars Bhumi Pednekar alongside Imran, with Gurfateh Pirzada also playing an important role.
Interestingly, Pednekar will also be seen in another Netflix release soon - The Royals, where she stars opposite Ishaan Khatter.
Pirzada was last seen in Amazon Prime Videos's Ananya Pandey-led Call Me Bae (2024).
Why Imran Khan was on a break from acting
Imran Khan stepped away from acting in 2015 to focus on his personal well-being and family life.
The 42-year-old has shared in interviews that he felt "broken inside" and had lost enthusiasm for his work, which led him to take a break.
The birth of his daughter Imara in 2014 played a big role in this decision, as he wanted to grow and heal for her sake.
During this time, he turned to therapy and prioritised his mental health over his film career.
