John Doesn't Approve Of Kartik Aaryan's Rape Monologue In 'Pati Patni Aur Woh', Says He Can't Deal With Adult Comedy
Anil Kapoor has the best piece of advice for Kartik Aaryan
Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has become the talk of the town all thanks to his monologue on marital rape in Pati Patni Aur Woh.
The actor, who will be seen in a cult comedy remake Pati Patni Aur Woh along with Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar has gone little over the board with his comedy. Infact he has been facing flak for the same.
Kartik, who became famous with his monologue with his very first film Pyaar Ka Punchnama has now been criticised for his controversial monologue in his upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh.
John Abraham, who has done light comedy films like Garam Masala, Housefull 2 and is now coming with Pagalpanti has expressed his displeasure against adult comedy.
In an interaction with the media, the actor was asked about his opinion on adult comedy, to which John said,
¡°I cannot deal with adult comedy. In Pagalpanti, it is a universal movie. You can target anyone, from the age of 5 to 80-90, there is nothing offensive in it. There is no bloodshed, the villains are cute, everything is very good and positive about the film. Subconsciously I don¡¯t. I can¡¯t do adult humour, so if anything it bothers me in a line and I feel it might be offensive as far as humour goes, I probably wouldn¡¯t say it.¡±
Anil Kapoor who is also a part of Pagalpanti shared his perspective on Kartik Aaryan¡¯s monologue. He said,
¡°It depends who you are working with as well. Sometimes you work with someone where you feel trapped. You trust a director completely and then feel ¡®what is this line?¡¯ There are youngsters and newcomers, they don¡¯t know how to say no and don¡¯t realize it and later they feel they received flak for it. But their intent is not wrong¡±.
We wonder if Kartik will take this piece of advice from the veteran star and choose his dialogues wisely.
Pati Patni Aur Woh will be releasing on December 6 and only time will tell if the audiences accepts or rejects the film. There are also reports that the makers will remove the monologue from the film.
