Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday to reunite for a rom-com? Actors spotted at a script reading

The reports of Bollywood stars Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday reconciling on screen could be true. After nearly six years, the two were sighted together at a script reading session for the upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, reigniting suspicion about their collaboration. Both actors were spotted arriving for the reading session, which ended late Wednesday evening.

Here's what we know about the movie so far

Rumours about the Pati Patni Aur Woh co-stars collaborating on a romantic comedy, supported by Karan Johar, first surfaced earlier this month. The film is Aaryan's first collaboration with Johar after their previous feature was shelved.

The film will be directed by Sameer Vidwans, who previously directed Aaryan's 2023 blockbuster Satyaprem Ki Katha. Johar revealed it on his Instagram account. "Wrapped in romance, we provide you with the finest Christmas gift ever! Tu Meri Main Tera, starring Kartik Aaryan, will be released in cinemas in 2026. "Directed by Sameer Vidwans," the filmmaker wrote.

In 2019, it was revealed that Aaryan and Johar would work together on Dostana 2, the sequel to the 2008 smash hit Dostana. However, two years later, the filmmakers announced plans to recast the film, citing creative differences between the producer and the actor.

This will be Kartik's next major project following the success of his box office smash 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', which has become the actor's highest-grossing film. On the other hand, Ananya will star in the film Chand Mera Dil alongside actor Lakshya.
