His past comments

In 2013, Kim Soo-hyun starred in the hit film Secretly, Greatly. During a showcase on April 30, he spoke about his life plans, saying, "When I was 24, I made a life plan while thinking about how I would make a living, and I decided that I would get married between the ages of 36 and 37. But now, I don¡¯t think I¡¯ll be able to stick to that plan."

However, his next comment drew criticism. He added, "It looks like my marriage timeline has been pushed back a bit. I think I might be able to get married at around 41. I¡¯ll marry a 21-year-old when I'm 41."

The clip sparked outrage among netizens ¡ª some questioned the odd choice of a doll as a gift, while others pointed out a pattern of his unusual interactions with young actresses.

Nam Ji-hyun

Kim Soo-hyun's past remarks about Nam Ji-hyun, made during a 2010 interview when she was 15 and he was 22, have resurfaced. Reflecting on their work in Will It Snow for Christmas? and Giant, he joked, "It felt so weird, like my younger brother had stolen my girl," referring to Yeo Jin-goo's role.

Despite their age gap, he praised Nam Ji-hyun's acting skills, admitting he learned from her and felt jealous of the praise she received from directors and senior actors.
