As per a report by Pinkvilla, Kriti Sanon is likely to join Don 3 as the female lead opposite Ranveer Singh.
Sources suggest she has given a nod in principle and is expected to finalise the deal in the coming weeks.
Earlier, Kiara Advani was reportedly set to take on the role but had to step away from the project due to her pregnancy.
A source cited in the report said that the team behind Don 3, including director Farhan Akhtar and Excel Entertainment, was keen on casting a seasoned actress with strong screen presence. "Kriti Sanon fits the bill like hand in glove. She has the aura to play Roma on screen, and is excited to sign the dotted lines soon, the source added.

The Don series is all set for a high-powered comeback, with Ranveer Singh taking on the lead role made iconic by Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.
Farhan Akhtar, who directed the earlier installments, is back at the helm after a decade-long break from directing.
Pre-production has been underway for some time now.
Reports suggest that major portions of Don 3 will be filmed across Europe, especially in the UK and Germany. An insider revealed, "Don 3 will be shot largely in Europe and the locations are already closed."
The script is also said to be locked. The source further added, "All that remains now is slight polishing alongside the action design. The pre-production work will go on for the next few months, and the team is aiming to take the film on floors by October/November 2025."
