Loveyapa Box Office Collection Day 2: This theatrical debut of Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan was one of the highly anticipated films this year but has seen an unfortunate start at the box office. The romantic-comedy was even beaten by the re-releases in its opening numbers but a slight growth on Day 2 fills us with hope. Here's how much Loveyapa earned on Day 2 and its worldwide total.

According to box office tracker Sacnilk, Loveyapa earned Rs 1.65 crore on Day 2 (8th February) which is about 43% growth from its opening numbers which was Rs 1.15 crore. The film has reportedly not been released overseas so no data set from there and hence within two days, Loveyapa has taken home a total of Rs 3.3 crore which is 40% less than its competition release Badass Ravi Kumar which earned Rs 5.5 crore in two days.
Loveyapa's plot summary
A remake of the Tamil film Love Today, this one is about the relationship between the main characters, Gaurav (played by Junaid) and Baani (played by Khushi). Their love story gets a twist when Baani's dad asks them to swap phones for 24 hours before they can get married. This leads to a series of funny and surprising moments as they discover each other's secrets. With a UA 16+ rating by CBFC, Loveyapa has a runtime of 2 hours, 18 minutes, and 28 seconds.

The Times of India rated the film 3 out of 5 and a part of their review read, ¡°The film's entertaining and youthful take on modern love effectively captures digital-age dilemmas, but a sharper, more focused narrative would have enhanced its impact. For takers of romcom and dramas, this will be an easy-breezy watch.¡±
