Madha Gaja Raja, Vishal¡¯s delayed film, has emerged as the surprise winner of the Pongal season and received rave reviews. According to Ramesh Bala, a trade analyst, the action comedy performed along expected lines and earned Rs 6 crore in Tamil Nadu on its seventh day.

¡°The film earned Rs 6 crore on January 18,¡± he told Indiatimes.
