Marco continues its run but slows down
Marco is doing well at the domestic box office and has already emerged as a blockbuster. According to Sacnilk, a trade website, the Unni Mukundan-led film collected Rs 45 lakh on its 22nd day. This figure is lower than the Rs 1.15 crore it made on January 9.

Its total collection is around Rs 57.5 crore. Marco received positive reviews, which worked in its favour. The film, a prequel to Mikhael, also benefitted from the underwhelming response to Mohanlal¡¯s Barroz. Marco is expected to witness some growth today (January 11) as it is a weekend.

Marco is a prequel to the 2018 film Mikhael. The Unni Mukundan-fronted thriller centres on the events that unfold when the titular character decides to punish those responsible for destroying his life. The cast includes Siddique, Anson Paul, and Kabir Duhan Singh. Marco is directed by Haneef Adeni of The Great Father fame. Ravi Basrur is the music director.
Marco hit the screens on December 20 and is still playing in theatres.
