Marco box office collection day 24: Unni Mukundan¡¯s Marco, which hit the screens on December 20, has set the box office on fire and emerged as a game-changer for Malayalam cinema. The film remains a force to reckon with even nearly a month after its release. The action thriller continued its run on Sunday, January 12, and added to its already impressive tally.
Marco is still a force to reckon with
Marco, one of the most hyped Malayalam films of 2024, continued to mint money on its 24th day in theatres. According to Sacnilk, a trade tracking website, the action thriller netted Rs 75 lakh in India on its fourth Sunday. This figure is slightly higher than the Rs 70 lakh it earned on January 11.

The film¡¯s total collection is around Rs 59 crore. It benefitted from the positive word-of-mouth and the dull response to Barroz, Marco is expected to attract an audience this week too as Game Changer, the biggest release of the Sankranti season, isn¡¯t doing exceptionally well at the box office.

Marco, a prequel to Mikhael (2018), centres on the bloodshed that prevails when the titular character decides to punish those who ruined his family. The film features Unni Mukundan in the lead. The cast includes Anson Paul, Jagadish, Siddique, and Kabir Duhan Singh. Marco is directed by Haneef Adeni. Ravi Basrur of KGF fame is the music director.
