Max box office collection day 1: Kiccha Sudeep¡¯s action thriller Max hit the screens on December 20 amid much fanfare. According to a report, it raked in Rs 8.5 crore (nett) in India on the first day. It has also received positive reviews.
Max box office collection day 1: Kiccha Sudeep¡¯s Max, which hit the screens on December 25, opened to a good response at the Indian box office and received rave reviews. The film benefitted from the Christmas holiday and the mass hero¡¯s popularity in Karnataka. The film had also created a buzz in Sandalwood with its stylish trailer, which has worked in its favour.
Max is off to a great start
Max, starring Sudeep, is off to a great start at the domestic box office despite facing competition from Upendra¡¯s UI. According to Sacnilk,a trade website, the action thriller netted Rs 8.50 in India on the first day. A major chunk of this came from Karnataka. The film has, however, not done too well in other markets. It faced competition from Pushpa 2 in the Telugu states as Allu Arjun¡¯s actioner is still the top choice of the masses in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Max is expected to stay stable today (December 26) as the word-of-mouth is positive. It is also likely to witness good growth at the box office over the (extended) weekend.

Directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa, Max is an action thriller that centers on the events that transpire when a cop returns to duty after serving a suspension and finds himself in an unexpected situation. He then tries to bring things under control using brute force.
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samyuktha Hornad, Sunil, Redin Kingsley, and Sukrutha Wagle essay key roles in Max. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, who is best known to the pan-India audience for his association with the Rajinikanth-led Kabali. B. Ajaneesh Loknath is Max's music director. This is Sudeep¡¯s first release after Kabzaa in which he had a cameo. The Upendra-led actioner hit the screens in 2023 and underperformed at the box office.
