The venue is located on a 22-acre plot in Banjara Hills. Earlier, the studio was known as Annapurna Pictures.

Delving into the emotional connection with the Akkineni family, we must revisit the incident when a major fire broke out at the iconic Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad in 2017, ¡°which led to Akkineni Nagarjuna (father of Naga Chaitanya) terming it as more of an ¡°emotional blow than a financial one.¡±
According to him, it was a historical set as it carried the legacy of his family and they had fond memories associated with it. A report of NDTV also revealed that in November 2017, just a day before the incident took place, the Akkineni family hosted a reception for their elder son Naga Chaitanya and his ex-wife Samantha Prabhu.
