Nayanthara reveals how online hate forced her to stop posting about husband Vignesh Shivan
Actress Nayanthara has stopped posting about her husband Vignesh Shivan on social media. In a new interview, she said that she took the decision after receiving online hate for lauding the filmmaker.
Nayanthara tied the knot with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan in 2022 and added a new dimension to her life. The two fell in love during the shoot of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and dated for nearly seven years before taking their relationship to the next level. Nayanthara initially used to post details about their personal life on social media but eventually stopped doing so. In a new interview, ¡®Thalaivi¡¯ opened up about this decision.
Nayanthara received ¡®bad comments¡¯ after posting about Vignesh Shivan
Nayanthara, who has been married to Vignesh Shivan since 2022, was initially open to sharing photos with her husband on social media but eventually changed her mind. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, the Jawan actress revealed that she decided against posting about Vignesh as her posts often received hate comments.
¡°Everything that's good in my life right now is his vision. But if I start giving credit to him now in your interview, the only comments you're going to see, the bad comments at the top are going to be, ¡®Oh my god! She¡¯s started praising her husband.' Now, we've reached a point where I really can't say something nice about my husband,¡± said the actress
Nayanthara also said that she wants to give him credit for being an inseparable part of her life but isn¡¯t able to because of the unnecessary negativity. She also added that she hopes to eventually find a way to acknowledge him without receiving hate on social media.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan started seeing each other during the shoot of the Dhanush-produced Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (2015). They subsequently dated for a few before exchanging wedding vows. Their wedding was a star-studded affair. It was attended by the likes of Atlee, Shah Rukh Khan, and ¡®Thalaivar¡¯ Rajinikanth. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan have two kids.
