1. Nimrat Kaur and Ravi Shastri

The actress known for her roles in movies like Airlift and The Lunchbox was rumoured to be dating cricket team coach Ravi Shastri in 2016. The two first met at a promotional event for a luxury car brand, and as per reports, they fell in love. Both Nimrat and Shastri denied these rumours. While Nimrat in a cryptic tweet said, "I may need a root canal. Fiction: Everything else I read about me today. More facts: Fiction can be more hurtful, monday blues exist and I love ice cream. Here¡¯s to trash free happy days ahead", Shastri on the other hand referred to the rumors as "the biggest load of cow dung."

2. Madhuri Dixit and Ajay Jadeja

Madhuri Dixit was once linked to Ajay Jadeja. It was said that the two broke off the match-fixing scandal. Another rumour suggests that they were never really together. In fact, they were only planning to work together on a project that didn't see the light of the day.

Izabelle in an interview with Bollywood Hungama had said, "Virat was one of the first Indian friends I had when I came to India. We were dating for quite a while. We were together for almost two years. But we didn't want to make it public. So yeah, Virat and I did have a relationship. But Sidharth is only my friend and yes, we do spend time together as well."

On her break-up with Virat Kohli, she said, "Yes, we were in a relationship for two years. This relationship ended with mutual consent. Now we are good friends."

During the early days of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Preity was rumoured to be dating Yuvrah Singh, who was the captain of her team Kings XI Punjab. Well, none of them addressed the rumours and they eventually died down. Later, Preity Zinta married Gene Goodenough and Yuvraj Singh married model-actress Hazel Keech.

6. Deepika Padukone - Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni

MS Dhoni was reportedly head-over-heels in love with Deepika Padukone. He even confessed his crush on her to Shah Rukh Khan once and had asked for a special screening of Om Shanti Om. Even Deepika was spotted cheering for Dhoni in the stands at a T20 match against Australia. Rumour has it that Dhoni chopped his hair after Deepika asked him to do so. Known for movies like Kisna and Good Boy, Bad Boy among others, Isha Sharvani was rumored to be dating Zaheer Khan. It is said that they met in 2005 at a function and became friends. They dated for about eight years. Isha was also spotted cheering for Zaheer from the stands. Soon, they made their relationship official and even started living together. During the 2011 World Cup, their wedding rumours were rife. However, destiny had its own plan. Isha later revealed about their split in an interview and said Zaheer was still her good friend.

10. Nagma and Sourav Ganguly

In the early 2000s, rumours were rife that Nagma was dating Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly, who was married to Dona Ganguly and even had a kid. While both of them remained silent about the rumours for a long time, Nagma later revealed in 2009 interview, ".One person among millions becomes special. Our field gives us a platform to meet different sorts of people. Of course, when two people from different backgrounds who are well-known in their fields meet and like each other, people try to make too much of it. The world does not like to see two famous people come together. So much so that it gets into an area of destruction ¡ª and you let go."
