Himesh Reshammiya's Badass Ravi Kumar has collected more than twice of what Loveyapa made on the first day at the domestic box office. According to Rohit Jaiswal, a trade analyst, this is not too surprising given the target audience of the two movies. According to him, Badass Ravi Kumar is meant for those who watch films irrespective of the response and reviews.
¡°Loveyapa is made for Gen-Z. This section of the audience reads a few reviews and all before watching a film. Badass Ravi Kumar is meant for a pan-India audience and offers 80s-style masala. Its audience is not worried about whether it is good or bad,¡± he told Indiatimes

About Badass Ravi Kumar
Badass Ravi Kumar is an action drama, directed by Keith Gomes. It is a sequel to The Xpose and stars Himesh in the role of a brave heart who challenges deadly foes. The cast includes Prabhudeva, Mirzapur actor Anil George, Kirti Kulhari, and Johnny Lever. Sunny Leone has a special appearance in Badass Ravi Kumar. Himesh Reshammiya is the music director.
Loveyapa, on the other hand, is a remake of Love Today. The Bollywood film features Khushi Kapoor, the late Sridevi's daughter, as the leading lady and is her first collaboration with Junaid Khan. The Maharaaj actor is Aamir Khan's son.
