Madha Gaja Raja box office collection day 5: Madha Gaja Raja, which hit the screens on January 12, has emerged as a surprise hit at the box office and also received positive reviews with critics praising the performances. It faced competition from Vanangaan on the first day but soon overpowered the film. Madha Gaja Raja continued its run on Thursday, January 16, and remained the top choice of the audience.

Madha Gaja Raja stays stable

Vishal and Sundar C¡¯s Madha Gaja Raja is doing well at the Tamil Nadu box office and has emerged as the winner of the Pongal clash. According to Ramesh Bala, a trade tracker, the action comedy earned Rs 6 crore on its fifth day.

¡°Madha Gaja Raja is doing well and it made Rs 6 crore in Tamil Nadu on Thursday. It had done the same on January 15,¡± he told Indiatimes.

Day 1: Rs 5 crore

Day 2: Rs 5 crore

Day 3: Rs 6 crore

Day 4: Rs 5 crore

Day 5: Rs 6 crore

The total collection stands at Rs 27 crore.

Madha Gaja Raja benefitted from the positive word-of-mouth. The mixed response to Vanangaan and Shankar¡¯s Game Changer too worked in its favour.
