Madha Gaja Raja, Vishal¡¯s delayed film, has exceeded expectations at the box office and overpowered the other Pongal releases in Tamil Nadu. It remained reasonably strong on Monday (January 20). According to Ramesh Bala, a trade tracker and analyst, Madha Gaja Raja grossed Rs 2.50 crore on its ninth day.

¡°The film made Rs 2.50 crore yesterday,¡± he told Indiatimes.

This is lower than the Rs 5 crore it earned Sunday (January 19).
