2. Gi Hun was called and given jacket No.1 to stand out, so that guards could get a cue not to kill him.
3. Gong Yoo, who lures everyone to play the game at the train station, caught everyone's attention will return in season 2.
If you were wondering why he wasn't assigned a more significant role, well, hold your horses. According to a viral theory doing the rounds, he is Player no 1's son and could be seen headlining season 2 in a new avatar! (Well, we can only hope considering how good-looking he is! Sigh.)
4. The Frontman isn't a villain.
In reality, he was only overseeing all the operations, and in the showdown scene with his brother, it was shown that they both loved each other. There is no reason why he could not catch the intruder, but maybe he knew it could be his brother, and he didn't kill him inside. Well!
5. Color of the card chooses whether you would be a player or a worker.
In the episode, viewers are introduced to Gong Yoo, whose work is to lure debt-ridden and desperate for money people to sign up for Squid Game. Seong Gi-hun is offered 10,000 Won every time he successfully flips the opponent's card, while the opponent gets to slap Gi-hun if he wins.

Before the game, Seong Gi-hun is offered a choice- a red card or a blue card. Gi-hun chooses blue. Later on, he is seen in a blue suit.
So there's a theory in Squid Game where Gi-Hun picked the blue card from the salesman (Gong Yoo) and then woke up in blue suit as a player. Had he or the other players picked the red card, they would be the workers/guards. pic.twitter.com/cPJZMq5Ymg

According to some fans, had Gi-hun chosen red instead, he would have become one of the red-coated workers and not the player!
