Parasakthi title teaser out: Sivakarthikeyan, Sudha Kongara's film has this in common with Vanangaan

Sivakarthikeyan is one of the most popular stars in Tamil cinema, The actor enjoys a strong fan following because of his sincere performances and striking screen presence. He is now in the limelight because of his film with Sudha Kongara. In an exciting development, the project has been titled Parasakthi and its official teaser is out.

Parasakthi teaser out

Sivakarthikeyan, who delivered a blockbuster with Amaran, is back with his latest film Parasakthi. On Wednesday, January 29, he unveiled its official teaser, The video is an intense affair that features him as a man of the masses. The teaser also features Athravaa and Ravi Mohan (previously known as Jayam Ravi) in fierce avatars.

Parasakthi features Pushpa 2 sensation Sreeleela as the leading lady and marks her Kollywood debut. It is directed by Sudha Kongara, who previously directed films such as Soorarai Pottru and Irudhi Suttru. The music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

The Vanangaan connect

In case you did not know, Suriya was the original choice for this film. However, he opted out and was replaced by Sivakarthikeyan. Interestingly, this is not the only major project Suriya has let go of in recent years.

He was to star in Bala¡¯s Vanangaan. However, the project did not materialise as the actor and the Sethu helmer parted ways. Bala later revealed that it would not have been possible to shoot the film in live locations with Suriya given his popularity. Vanangaan was eventually revived with Arun Vijay in the lead. It hit the screens on January 10 and received mixed reviews.
