Pushpa 2: CBFC asks the makers of Allu Arjun¡¯s film to delete ¡®r**di¡¯, tone down a gory scene?
The CBFC has asked the makers of Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 to tone down a couple of gory scenes and delete an abusive word. The Sukumar-helmed actioner is set to hit the screens on December 5. It is a sequel to Pushpa.
Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun, promises to be one of the most compelling films of the year. The action drama has created a great deal of buzz in the industry as it is a sequel to Pushpa (2021) and features Bunny in a fierce avatar. According to a report, the CBFC has cleared the film with a U/A certificate and asked the team to make minor modifications.
CBFC asks Pushpa 2 makers to remove abusive word
Allu Arjun is set to woo the audience with Pushpa 2, slated to hit the screens on December 5. Ahead of the big day, the CBFC cleared the eagerly-awaited sequel with a U/A certificate but asked for some changes. According to a report carried by BollywoodLife, the makers were asked to delete the word ¡®r**di¡±, which was thrice in the film.
The word ¡®Venkateshwar¡¯ has been replaced with ¡®god¡¯. Moreover, the CBFC asked the makers to tone down certain violent scenes. A sequence featuring an amputated leg has been done away from him. Moreover, a scene where the lead character is seen holding a severed arm has been edited to make it less gory.
The film has a runtime of 3 hours and 20 minutes.
