Kanguva, starring Suriya, hit the screens on November 14 and received negative reviews from critics. The film opened to a good response at the box office despite the underwhelming critical response but crashed once the initial buzz faded. Now, it seems that Suriya fans are still to get over the debacle. Many of them took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to troll Allu Arjun¡¯s Pushpa 2. They also said that Kanguva is better than the Telugu biggie.

Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun, opened to a stellar response at the box office on December 5 and also received rave reviews with critics lauding the performances. However, it appears that Suriya¡¯s fans are not too happy with the film. Some of them took to X to attack the actioner. They also said that Kanguva was not a bad film.

Kanguva, directed by ¡®Siruthai¡¯ Siva, is a fantasy drama that centres on the bond between a legendary warrior and his foe¡¯s son. The film features Suriya in a double role and is the biggest film of his career. The cast includes Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, and Karthi. The film was shot on a budget of Rs 350 crore and collected nearly Rs 100 crore during its run. It is set to premiere on Prime Video on December 8.

Pushpa 2, Sukumar¡¯s biggest film, is an action drama that centres on the events that transpire when the titular character reignites his feud with SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil), his arch-rival and a menacing cop. The film stars Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady and has proved to be a memorable release for the ¡®Kodava Beauty¡¯.
