Actor Saif Ali Khan was hurt after an intruder allegedly broke into his and Kareena Kapoor's Bandra home early on Thursday. The actor was transported to Lilavati Hospital and is currently having emergency surgery. On Thursday morning, physicians at Lilavati provided an update on the actor's ailments, stating that the full extent of the injury would be determined only after surgery, according to an HT report.
Saif was attacked at his home by an unidentified individual and transported to Lilavati around 3:30 a.m. He was taken to the hospital by his son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and one assistant.

He has six injuries, two of which are deep. One of the injuries is near his spine. One injury to the neck.
Doctors discovered a piece of knife in the body and are currently determining the degree of the injuries. However, the actor can move his limbs, indicating that the spine is okay.

Kareena Kapoor issues a statement
Kareena Kapoor¡¯s team also stated the incident and said, ¡°There was an attempted burglary in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan¡¯s residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which is in hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine. We request media and fans to be patient and not speculate any further as the Police is already doing their due investigations.Thank you all for your concern."
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor live in an apartment complex in Bandra West with their two boys, Taimur and Jeh. The actor was hurt when an intruder allegedly broke into their home at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday.
According to police, it is unclear if Saif was hurt in a skirmish with the intruder or stabbed. Police said the thief fled the scene as the house's inhabitants awoke, and they are looking for him. The Bandra police are in the midst of filing a FIR, and various police teams have been established to track the offender.
