Sankranthiki Vasthunam's sequel confirmed

And that's not all! The excitement doesn't stop with the TV premiere. Venkatesh Daggubati has just confirmed that a sequel to Sankranthiki Vasthunam is on the way. The actor shared the news at the film's success event, sending fans into a frenzy. He teased that the sequel would bring more of the heartwarming family moments and emotional ups and downs that made the first movie a hit.

While details about the second part are still under wraps, Venkatesh hinted at a release date in 2027 for Pongal. Director Anil Ravipudi also expressed his excitement, saying there's a lot more story to tell.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam's plot

The film follows the story of Y.D. Raju (Venkatesh) who is hired to find Satya Akella, the CEO of a big company who has been kidnapped from a farmhouse belonging to a political leader. Raju's ex-girlfriend, ACP Meenakshi (Meenakshi Chaudhary), ropes him into the case, but things get complicated when Raju's wife, Bhagyalakshmi (Aishwarya Rajesh), decides to join in, worried that her husband might reconnect with Meenakshi.
