What is Sky Force all about?
A fictionalised adaptation of a true story, the movie follows a 1971 Pakistan Air Force attack on an Indian airbase, leading to the capture of Pakistani pilot Ahmed. During interrogation, Indian Wing Commander K. O. Ahuja uncovers a tragic history from the 1965 Indo-Pakistani War, where Ahuja¡¯s close friend, T. K. Vijaya ("Tabby"), sacrificed himself in a covert mission to destroy Pakistan's air assets.
Despite his bravery, Tabby went missing and was ignored by the Indian government, which refused to help Ahuja find him. Over the years, Ahuja wrestles with guilt for not keeping his promise to Tabby¡¯s wife, Geeta. In 1985, Ahuja learned from Ahmed that Tabby had survived a missile attack, only to eventually die after shooting down Ahmed¡¯s aircraft in Pakistani territory. Posthumously, Tabby is awarded the Maha Vir Chakra for his heroism.
