Netflix, like us, misses Money Heist, which is why they had announced a spin-off series based on the main character, Berlin. In addition to the Korean version of the Spanish, Hit La Casa De Papel is set to debut in 2022.
With the release of Squid Game, a show that has broken viewership records, interest in Korean dramas and series has increased, and there is no doubt that this trend will continue. The drama's remake is an excellent opportunity to please original fans while also attracting new viewers without alienating current ones.
What Is the Release Date for Money Heist: Korea?
With the announcement that filming would end in early 2022, a teaser trailer featuring the cast and the official title of the Korean adaptation, Money Heist: Korea 每 Joint Economic Area, was released. Professor Yoo Ji-Tae and Kim Na-na are reunited in it.
The first teaser trailer for Netflix's Korean remake of the Spanish crime thriller, Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area Part 1, has been released. The series will premiere on June 24, 2022.

Decoding The Trailer
In the teaser, six masks hang on the wall, one of which is recognizable from the Spanish Money Heist, the Dali mask.
Salvador Dali, a Spanish artist who rejected modern capitalist society, inspired the Dali mask.
The remaining five masks are Hahoetal masks, which are traditional Korean masks depicting ancestral rites or driving away evil spirits.
Six heists could be planned, going by the number of masks because they could have used just one mask, as they did in the original series.
What Do We Know About The Money Heist: Korea's Plot?
Money Heist: Korea 每 Joint Economic Area series is a remake of the Spanish TV drama La Casa De Papel also popularly known as Money Heist and follows the storyline and characters of the original series. "The Professor" (Yoo Ji-Tae), is a strategist criminal mastermind, who plans to pull off a heist in Korea. The operation involves strategists and desperados with varying traits and abilities who must deal with unusual situations.
But as the name suggests, it is likely to highlight Korea's socioeconomic conflict on both sides of the border. The term "Joint Economic Area" may also refer to the Joint Security Area, a military zone between North and South Korea.
How Many Episodes Will The Series Have?
For the first season, there will be 12 episodes, each lasting an hour. This is the same number of episodes as the first two seasons before Netflix renewed the show for three more seasons.
Money Heist: Korea's CastAlthough the robbers in the Spanish heist have the same names as their Korean counterparts, actress Jun Jong-seo made it clear that they will have distinct personalities in the series.

Is ?lex Pi?a a part of the remake?
The Spanish showrunner behind "Money Heist" - Alex Pina, is in charge of many of the groundbreaking events in the show. He was part of the creative team for the original series Money Heist, but now he's going to be an executive producer for season 2.
Who Are The Director, Scriptwriter, and Production House?
It was reported in June 2020 that BH Entertainment was planning a remake of Money Heist, which they would co-produce with Zium Content. Netflix confirmed a Korean remake of the series with Kim Hong-sun as director and Ryu Yong-Jae as a scriptwriter on December 1. The production would be handled by BH Entertainment.
