Cast :
Piyush Mishra, Divyenndu, Gauahar Khan, Eisha Chopra, Jitin Gulati, Manish Anand, Pranay Pachauri, and Monica Chaudhary star in the quirky family drama.
Trailer:
"Like Mumbai, it adds salt to everything," the actor says in the trailer for Salt City. Drone footage of the legendary sea link, as well as numerous shots of the calm blue sea, appear in the trailer. The narrator of the mother's story begins by reminiscing about how, in the past, all of her family members could fit comfortably under one roof, and how, now, whether her children have grown up or the house has shrunk, this is no longer the case. The tone is nostalgic, and she clearly does not live with her children. Relationships are a jumble of issues. Mishra's character, the family patriarch, claims to have had a lovely family in the past, but that they were only interested in each other's lives for the sake of success.
The Plot:
The series explores connections and how they evolve over time in this town. We see a family that used to be happy but is now in disarray. The Director, Rishabh Anupam Sahay's series appears to be a much-needed breath of fresh air, as it deals with family, relations, and the complexities of human emotions, and web series with these narratives are an exception these days.
After playing the role of this character in Mirzapur, Divyendu Sharma's popularity skyrocketed. The waiting audience had been anticipating a new web series because they loved his character so much. In contrast to his character in Mirzapur, he will be seen in a different role in which he will be shown to be mature and sensible.
Gauahar Khan, who portrays one of the main characters in the upcoming web series Salt City, describes the story as "real, complex and one of the best family dramas" to watch. The show's recently released trailer introduces viewers to the world of an Urban Middle-Class Family Drama.
She said, "I adore how intertwined and realistic the family members' relationships are, as well as their complexities. Rishabh Anupam Sahay's series is beautifully written and directed. I can't wait for people to see the show because it features some incredible performances.¡±
The powerful dialogue lines by Navni Parihar: 'When the children were small, everyone used to get into the house; now, either the house has become too small or the children have grown.' is a reality of today's world. This strikes a chord with you and makes you think of your family.
Isn't it ironic that you need your parents when you're young but not as an adult, and that they treat you with patience and care? To their parents, a child is still a child even when they are adults. Your mother understands your needs even if you are unable to communicate them. However, as we get older and our parents become more reliant on us, we become preoccupied with our own lives and have no time for them.
