Sapna Singh has lost her young son to a gruesome murder in Bareilly. The TV actress after staging a protest against his killing penned an emotional note detailing the incident which has now gone viral.
Sapna Singh is grieving the death of her 14-year-old son. TV actress lost her young boy Sagar Gangwar to a gruesome murder case in her hometown Bareilly. The news made it big on the internet after Sapna staged a 90-minute-long protest on Tuesday (December 10) demanding a detailed investigation into the incident.
Police soon after assuring her fairness arrested two of Sagar¡¯s friends Anuj and Sunny - both adults - and were sent to jail as per PTI. Circle Officer (Fatehpur) Ashutosh Shivam said, "The postmortem report could not confirm the exact cause of death but indications of poisoning or drug overdose have been found. Viscera samples have been preserved for further examination.¡±
Bhuta Police Station Inspector Sunil Kumar added, "Anuj and Sunny confessed during questioning that they had consumed drugs and alcohol with Sagar. The overdose caused Sagar to collapse. Panicking, they dragged his body to a field and left him there." However, Sapna has a different story to tell.
Sapna Singh details the gruesome killing of her son
Taking to her Facebook handle, Sapna wrote in Hindi, ¡°Rip, My son Sagar is no more in this world. Some bast**ds shot my son, broke his hand, slit his throat and broke his leg. They called him from my home and took him away to play cricket. What harm did this innocent child do to anyone that he was killed so brutally? Without my child, what would happen to me, my sister, my mother, my sister, and my brother? All my family members are losing it, we cannot stop crying. How will we all be able to live without you Sagar? These bast**ds have robbed my entire world. What harm did such a small child do to you that you killed my child?¡±
Who is Sapna Singh?
Sapna is a television actress who is best known for starring in shows like Crime Patrol, Saavdhaan India, Mati ki Banno, Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain, Fir Lauti Nagin, Krishan Kanhaiya, and Waaris among others. Mostly a character artist, Singh has also won a Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award. Sapna also played a small role in Ashutosh Gowarikar¡¯s 2019 film Panipat. She was in Mumbai when the incident happened and has also shared the deceased¡¯s picture in her stories.
