Tanhaji director Om Raut hails Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava: 'Visual and emotional spectacle'

Director Om Raut is thrilled by Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava. The son of Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, is the subject of the recently produced historical drama. Om, who directed Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, which won a National Award, commended Laxman Utekar.

Vicky changes into the renowned Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's son, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, in Chhaava. His valiant struggle to protect the Maratha Empire against the infamous Mughal tyrant Aurangzeb is depicted in the movie.
Rashmika Mandanna plays Sambhaji's wife, Yesubai, in the historical drama, which was directed by Laxman Utekar. Aurangzeb is portrayed by Akshaye Khanna. Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Diana Penty all play important parts in the movie. February 14 was the release date of Chhaava.
