The incident took place at Mumbai's Galaxy Theatre and resulted in a pause of 15¨C20 minutes while the movie was running. The situation was addressed after people described their distress.

Meanwhile, a stampede incident was also registered at the Hyderabad screening that even claimed a life. This was a separate incident that took place on December 4. Audiences gathered to have a look at actor Allu Arjun outside Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre, where the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule was scheduled. The crowd outside the theatre was out of control, and that's what resulted in the stampede.
The chaos also led to a police lathi charge. Unfortunately, one woman lost her life in the stampede incident, and even a child was injured.
According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Zone, Hyderabad), a case has been registered at Chikkadpally Police Station, and stringent action will be taken against those responsible for the disorder.
