Next-gen Hyundai Venue testing begins in India: Check out the expected specifications, and more
Although the venue's design will be updated, its mechanical components will not be altered in this new version. For the first time, the next-generation Hyundai Venue has been seen undergoing testing in India. For some time now, the little SUV has been tested abroad.
Next-gen Hyundai Venue testing started might launch soon in India: SUV aficionados are excited as Hyundai has begun testing the next-generation Venue in India. The popular small SUV in its class is anticipated to get new design upgrades, cutting-edge technologies, and improved performance.
A broader grille, updated headlights, and new alloy wheels are hinted at in spy photos of the test mule, suggesting a more upscale appearance. Buyers can anticipate better comfort and technology inside. With an upcoming holiday season launch, Hyundai is preparing to fortify its position in the cutthroat SUV market.
The renovated venue offers a fusion of design, functionality, and innovation to meet the changing expectations of Indian consumers.
What we know about 2nd-gen Hyundai Venue
A recently leaked spy photo of a next-generation Venue test mule highlights significant variations from the current model. The new Venue still has the iconic boxy shape, but it is a little more upright, and the taillights are anticipated to have a whole new look.
Significant changes will also be made to the front grille and headlamps, giving the next-generation Venue a new look to better align the small SUV with the existing Creta and Alcazar. Internationally spied test mules of the new Venue suggest a different fascia.
The interior of the next Hyundai Venue will also receive a makeover, including a wholly reworked dashboard. Since many of the Venue's rivals have started offering them, features like an ADAS suite and 360-degree cameras should also be accessible.
Expected specifications of 2nd-gen Hyundai Venue
Design: As is customary, the test mule observed during the test was camouflaged entirely to conceal the new equipment from spectators. Early spy photos, however, show a striking design that the new Venue will feature, detracting from the typical complaint that it lacks adequate butch looks.
A wider radiator grille with a block-like pattern, larger headlamp and tail light clusters, and sharper side lines that give it a strong aspect could be some of its primary design features. This might make the 2019 Hyundai Venue appear much larger than it does in the present model.
Interior: We haven't been able to obtain any interior photos of the new Venue as we write this. Hyundai will do everything possible to pack the new Venue with as many amenities as possible.
Some of these features include a more extensive entertainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated front seats, a TFT instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, Level-2 ADAS, and more. The Venue currently lacks the characteristics above that most of its competitors provide.
Engine Options: Regarding the powertrain, we anticipate that the new-generation Venue will provide the same selection of options, which include 1.5-litre turbo diesel, 1.0-litre gasoline, and 1.2-litre gasoline engines.
Its 120PS 1.0-liter turbocharged engine can be linked to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT, while its 83PS 1.2-liter gasoline engine is only mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. However, the 1.5-litre diesel engine only comes with a 6-speed manual transmission. We anticipate that Hyundai will combine the diesel engine with an auto box as part of the generation update.
Expected launch of 2nd-gen Hyundai Venue
The Hyundai Creta Electric, Hyundai India's first domestically produced electric SUV, was just unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo 2025. The new generation Hyundai Venue is the following product scheduled for release. We anticipate that the new Hyundai Venue India will go on sale in the middle of 2025.
