Television actor Karan Veer Mehra has finally won Bigg Boss 18. He and first runner-up Vivian Dsena reached the finals after a 105-day trip inside the house. Mehra, who earlier won Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, is the second individual to achieve back-to-back victories.

Late actor Sidharth Shukla won the seventh season of the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi before winning Bigg Boss 13 in 2020. Sidharth was 40 when he died. He died from a heart arrest. Karan Veer Mehra feels he is the "chosen one" after completing the same feat and winning both shows.
Posting a picture on Instagram with his mother and sister, Mehra wrote, "The second trophy is also home now and it¡¯s shining brighter than ever! ? Let the celebrations BEGIN!"
He told ANI, "I feel very happy. I am the chosen one. I did the rare task of winning back-to-back reality shows. I believed in myself. I worked hard and aimed for the top and it happened. I came to know a few things about me, like that I am an emotional person. Before, when I used to cry over little things, I felt bad. But now, I believe that it's okay.¡±
Karan reacts to being compared with Shukla
¡°Bahut acha ladka tha wo. Mera dost tha. Humne kaafi zyada time spend nahi kiya but we knew each other very well. Main khush hu ki mujhe ussey compare kiya jaa raha hai. Wo dil ka bahut bada insaan that," Karan said in an online interview.
Karan recalled the time when Shukla had an expensive bike and he requested the bike for a portfolio shoot to pose with it. Karan added, "Wo neechay aa kar apni keys de gaya and usne bola ki back road pe chalaate hue photos lele. Itni mehengi bike agar koi aise hi dost ko dede toh aap samajh sakte ho dil kitna bada tha uska. I miss him. I wish I could share this moment with him."
Karan's experience on Bigg Boss was nothing short of exhilarating. It contained his heated arguments with Vivian Dsena and Sara Khan, amusing comments about Avinash Mishra, and feelings for actress Chum Darang.
Not only that, but he opened up about his two unsuccessful marriages. Rajat Dalal, Vivian Dsena, Karan Veer Mehra, Chum Darang, Avinash Mishra, and Eisha Singh were this season's top six candidates.
