What was the collection inspired from?
Nature remains a constant inspiration for Mishra's atelier. This year collection was named ¡®Nargis¡¯ after the namesake flower.
The collection highlights the designer¡¯s intimate bond with nature and its various experiences, including caressing the flowers and fruit in a garden and listening to the birds chirping.
The outfits were embodiment of everything you see in a garden from a cosy room¡ªa space filled with love and comfort¡ªthe embroidery artworks from this collection are real anecdotes from life.
A pride of peacocks frolicking in a Mughal Garden, fiery red pomegranate flowers turning to ripe fruit, a bouquet of peonies, and a busy fish pond full of lilies in the golden sun. The details are meant foremost for the wearer.?
What stood out in the collection?
Like everytime, Mishra's work came to life in eight months with more than 1,200 embroidery artisans who associate with the brand in various villages across the country.
The collection modernises hundreds of ancient, traditional hand-embroidery techniques. It features vibrant surfaces adorned with aari threadwork, bugle beads, kundan, various kinds of rhinestone crystals, glass beads, freshwater pearls, sequins, nakshi pita work, and more.?

Afreen girl Lisa Ray close the show for the designer. She wore a white prestiched saree with an embellished bloue with natural motifs and 3D appliqu¨¦.
