As the Paris Haute Couture Week 2024 kicked off with a bang on 24th June, we could not help but be amazed by Indian celebs taking centre stage at the international fashion scene. From turning heads as they walk the ramp to starting conversations with their outfits while sitting in the front row, Indian celebrities have captivated global audiences and how! 1) Janhvi Kapoor

Actor Janhvi Kapoor made her international runway debut at the international fashion scene as she walked the ramp showcasing an exquisite outfit from Rahul Mishra's Couture Fall 2024 collection 'Aura'. The mesmerizing number featured a mermaid-style skirt with a long train paired with an embellished black bustier. The stunning skirt was adorned with shimmery embroidered details that appeared to change colours according to how the light fell on it.

With middle-parted soft cascading locks, her signature kohl-laden eyes and a bronze lip, Janhvi exuded an other-worldly charm as she glided on the runway depicting Rahul Mishra's one of the finest looks that was a contemporary take on the traditional Indian couture.

2) Radhika Apte

Another Indian who made her mark on Paris Haute Couture Week 2024, is Radhika Apte who turned showstopper for designer Vaishali Shadangule and showcased a design from her fashion label Vaishali S. A part of the designer's new Fall/Winter 2024 collection titled 'Satori', the dramatic turquoise was nothing short of an artwork are reportedly took over two months to create.

Completing her look with a bun that featured turquoise-toned accessories, Radhika effortlessly walked the ramp in the multi-layered and multi-dimensional outfit which was paired with matching heels and a statement necklace from Tanishq Jewellery, who jointly presented the show with the designer, putting a spotlight on Indian craftsmanship.

In another look from the show, Apte walked the ramp in a maroon corded saree with a contemporary drape. A modern twist to the traditional saree, it featured beautiful 3D appliques. Rounding off her look with a neat slick-back bun, minimal makeup and statement gangler earrings, Radhika rocked the opening look that set the tone for the whole show.

3) Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor once again proved that you don't actually walk the ramp to establish a name for yourself on the global fashion circuit. The fashionista was all smiles as she geared up to attend Dior¡¯s Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2024 Show and was reportedly the only Indian celeb to have been invited to the event.

Dressed in Dior, her corporate chic outfit featured a starch white shirt, wool skirt, cropped leather jacket and tie. Sonam accessorised her outfit with diamond earrings and rings, and aviators. With minimal makeup and soft-curled waves, the Sonam completed her look and looked every inch the style icon.

Whether they are on the ramp, or not, Indian divas are making head turns at the esteemed event that attracts some of the biggest names in the world of fashion from all over the world.
