Selena Gomez opens up about her health issues, says she can't carry her own children
Singer and actor Selena Gomez recently shared with the world that she cannot carry her own children. She spoke to Vanity Fair and revealed she is dealing with too many medical issues and cannot put the baby and her life to risk.
International singer and actor Selena Gomez in an interview revealed to the world that she cannot carry her own children. Speaking to Vanity Fair for their cover interview, the 32-year-old singer said, ¡°I haven¡¯t ever said this, but I unfortunately can¡¯t carry my own children. I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby¡¯s in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while."
In a shocking statement, Selena shares she had the grieve about the fact that she has too many health issues which can get risky for her to have her child ie carry.
Selena's health condition includes lupus, an auto-immune disease that she has been living with for more than 10 years. She has always been vocal about her chronic illness. Infact, she has even had a kidney transplant in 2017. Her then best friend Francia Raisa donated her kidney. Selena was all of 25 years old.
In an earlier interview to Rolling Stone in 2022, Selena had mentioned that she may not be able to have a safe pregnancy due to her bipolar disorder and the medicines she takes for it.

Not just signing, Selena recently recieved an Emmy nomination for her role in Only Murders, a first for her in the acting department.
