Quinoa is a power packed cereal with all its amino acids intact and thus, a complete protein. The rains make your digestive system sluggish, so awaken it with this charged quinoa and greens recipe. While quinoa will give you plenty of proteins, the green veggies will give you lots of fibre, making it digestive friendly.
This dish is very filling by itself and can make you feel full for a long time, thereby preventing the false hunger pangs we experience due to the wet, moist and inviting rainy weather.
Ingredients
1 cup boiled quinoa
1 tea spoon of olive oil
1 cup mushrooms blanched in hot water
1 cup zucchini cut chopped fine
1 cup spinach chopped fine
1 cup parsley
? cup rocket leaves.
Method
Heat oil and add garlic, chilli flakes and fry until slightly brown.
Add the zucchini, mushrooms, spinach and stir fry for a few minutes.
Add the parsley and rocket leaves.
Add the quinoa immediately along with salt, 1 tea spoon of soya sauce and some white pepper powder.
