Raksha Bandhan Special: Lauki Ka Halwa

Ingredients
1 lauki (bottle gourd)
3 table spoons of ghee
1 cup double toned cow's milk
5 cahewnuts
5-6 black raisins
5 almonds
Jaggery- ? cup
Method
- Peel and grate the bottle gourd/lauki.
- Add ghee in a thick bottomed kadai, add some cardamom, and then the grated lauki.
- Stir fry the lauki for a few minutes, stirring continuously.
- Add the milk, and keep stirring until the mixture thickens.
- Now add in the nuts finely chopped, and the jaggery which is being cooked on a double broiler and liquidized.
- Stir well and cook for a few minutes more.
