32-year-old Teresa Venetoulis, a mother of two from Sydney, Australia, managed to lose 49 kilos in just a matter of 10 months!

What¡¯s even more astounding is that she managed to from a 103 to 54 kilos without exercise.
This stay-at-home mother started to pile on the weight after she gave birth to her son, Liam and daughter Faith, as a result of her overactive hormones following their birth. ¡°This then worsened my PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), which made it harder to lose weight. Within a year, I'd piled on 50kg and felt awful,¡± said Venetoulis, to Daily Mail, UK.
¡°I'd never been overweight before and have always been naturally slim. But after giving birth to my son [Liam, now nine], my hormones went into overdrive, which made me pile on the weight really quickly,¡± said Venetoulis.

She tried everything she could, from switching up her diet to working out
Venetoulis went on to say: ¡°I tried all the diets out there, went to the gym and ran every day, but it was no use¡ªnothing worked. I kept putting on weight.¡±
¡°After I was pregnant with my daughter I reached 103kg, and nothing I did helped budge the weight. I would lose 2kg, but then gain 5kg. It was so frustrating.¡±

Her secret? Switching completely to a ketogenic diet
She was only left with two choices: either to adhere to concoction of medications or to adopt the ketogenic diet, which her doctor had recommended to regulate her hormones and lose weight. Venetoulis picked the later option.
¡°I'd never heard of the ketogenic diet before, so spent a month researching before I decided to give it a go. "In the first two months, I lost 15kg. I was astounded. Nothing had ever worked before,¡± said Venetoulis.

Venetoulis claims that the only exercise she had was housework and walking her children to school.
She claims how the diet worked miraculously on her. ¡°I just kept going with it, and the weight just melted off. I ditched all carbs and focused on high protein and high healthy fats.¡±
¡°It's always drilled into us to go low fat or fat free, but our body needs good, healthy fats. It's the best diet I've ever tried. Now it's a lifestyle choice.¡±

Her diet being her greatest weight loss tool, Venetoulis also practiced intermittent fasting where she would consume all her calories in a couple large meals
¡°I'll have breakfast at around 11am, and then I'll eat again at 2pm. Then I'll fast until the next morning. It was hard at first, but your body just gets used to it.¡±
¡°The meals are large, and I'm getting all the calories I need without constantly snacking. I feel fantastic now that I've lost all the weight,¡± she states.
