¡°I stumbled upon an online portal which promotes healthy lifestyle and it motivated me to become fit. I have not looked back ever since that day,¡± adds Anupriya.

¡°Not finding the right clothes and feeling the odd one out in any gathering. Lack of confidence, health issues, not being able to keep pace with my hyperactive daughter were other challenges,¡± were consistent issues that bothered Anupriya. Because of which just being 110 kilos was one of the lowest point in her life. ¡°Not the best shape and weight one should have,¡± she states.
Her self-motivation began after she spend time online browsing through a social media portal, which advocated fitness and following a healthy lifestyle. Considering there are a dime-and-dozen sites and social media sites of this nature this one of the simplest ways anyone can start off on their journey and successfully lose weight.

¡°I have got so many contacts through social media platforms and otherwise, who are constantly seeking advice for their own transformation and that keeps me motivated in my journey towards my goal,¡± adds Anupriya.
Structuring a fitness plan and nutrition plan that works for her was critical to lose weight

¡°You need to count your calories more than you count your steps. There¡¯s no need for crash diets, starving yourself, getting under the knife to lose your body weight. With a balanced diet, you can have chicken biryani cooked the right way daily and yet lose weight consistently,¡± claims Anupriya.
She¡¯s also a believer of weight training. ¡°Weight training is far more effective in weight loss and replacing fat with muscle than any other form of exercise. Just a regular fitness regime and well-balanced diet as per your body is all that is required,¡± affirms Anupriy, who proper strength or resistance training with zero cardio for 90 minutes six days every week.

She had to completely overhaul her kitchen cabinets. ¡°Omitted refined and olive oils. Everything was cooked in ghee only, along with minimum salt intake, zero sugar, plenty of green leafy vegetables and gallons of water,¡± states Anupriya. Also ¡°Keep a kitchen scale and measure every ingredient used for cooking,¡± she adds.
Here¡¯s is what her controlled diet looked like:
Her breakfast: 3 whole eggs and 20 grams of almonds with black coffee
Her lunch: 100 grams of boneless chicken with 200 grams of vegetables and curd
Her dinner: 100 grams of rice, 40 grams of dal and 100 grams of paneer
Her cheat meals and indulgences: I always plan my cheat meals and I don¡¯t count calories when cheat eating. It may be anything from one bowl of ice cream to a five-course meal.
