1. Miami, USA

¡°Miami is the world's party destination. The city proudly boasts a plethora of luxury hotels, crazy night clubs and some of the most amazing beaches with clear blue water. Naturally, Miami caters to people that are wealthy and these people might not be too sweet to people who aren't as rich as them or hail from different destinations.¡±
2. Macau, China

¡°Hailed as the 'Las Vegas of China,' Macau is Asia's epicenter of glamour and gambling. While luxury entertainment is absolutely brilliant, the city's gamblers need to learn quite a few manners. A lot of travellers have spoken about rude behaviour from gamblers who won't even think twice before trampling over tourists or just anyone who comes between them and the poker table.¡±
3. New York City, USA

¡°New York has everything. Think great clubs, some of the best stores to shop, delicious pizza places on every street and avenue. But whatever you want, don't ask a stranger on the street to help you find it. Because it's a known fact that people in New York are not the kindest to strangers and feel tourists don't fit in to their fast-paced city.¡±
4. Hanoi, Vietnam

Most travellers have reported an endless barrage of scams taking place in Vietnam's capital, Hanoi. Tourists found that most interactions with locals were spent arguing about taxi fares and some even report being coerced into paying double the agreed amount upon reaching the destination.
"In the Vietnamese capital, the sport of ripping off tourists reaches impressively dizzy heights of the comical and bizarre ¨C a friend who recently visited had his shoe whipped off while walking down the street. After he chased down the fellow, it was returned to him with a 'repair' entailing a strip of car tyre and a demand for US$20."
5. Paris, France

¡°On a recent trip to Paris, my fianc¨¦e and I got rude and arrogant service almost everywhere we went. We were respectful and polite only to be met by rudeness and arrogance from shop owners, waiters, people at tourist information desks, metro information desks, tourist sites and so on. In three days I can only count three people who were polite and helpful. For such a beautiful city, the attitude of those working in the tourism industry sure needs a shift.¡±
6. Doha, Qatar

¡°While the airport is lovely, the city is ugly. The traffic is absolutely horrible and the men are pathetically rude.¡±
7. Cannes, France

Home to one of the world¡¯s most prestigious and glamorous film festivals, Cannes has quite a reputation for being a bit snobby. ¡°The city can be super kind to you if you have a lot of cash to spend. Budget travellers be warned.¡±
8. Milan, Italy

¡°I have travelled quite extensively but nowhere have I come across more self-absorbed locals than those in Milan.¡±
9. Moscow, Russia

¡°While the art and culture scene is quite diverse and sort of extraordinary, what Moscow lacks is people with smiles. Locals are rude for no reason and are absolutely not going to help you.¡±
