Shilpa Shetty's 'mob-wife aesthetic' raises the bar for airport fashion
The stylish diva aced the 'mob-wife aesthetic' trend making rounds on the internet with her animal print pantsuit. For the uninitiated, the mob wife trend first gained popularity in January 2024 after a TikToker posted a video saying, ¡°Clean girl is out; mob wife era is in, okay?¡±, Simplistically the trend encourages people to dress in animal prints, flashy clothes, eye-catching accessories and such.
Taking inspiration, Shilpa gave a nod to the trend in her latest boss lady look with her pantsuit. She styled her airport outfit with beige high-heeled pumps and a black Herm¨¨s bag.
To complete her look, the talented actress accessorised with a gold-toned necklace, matching chunky bracelet and a quirky pair of brown sunglasses. She kept her makeup minimal for a more balanced appearance with her loud outfit.
Her recent look was a step away from her usual choice of attire which features a slew of traditional Indian wear, chic dresses and classic pantsuits. In fact, the diva has been rocking ethnic wear like anything while celebrating the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Check out the captivating outfits she wore for the festivities:
1) Custom sharara set from Torani
2) Vibrant lehenga from Punit Balana
3) Multicoloured saree with Gujarati-style blouse
Shilpa was last seen in Rohit Shetty's web series Indian Police Force, along with Siddharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, Isha Talwar and Shweta Tiwari. The 49-year-old actress is also a regular on the hit reality show India's Got Talent and shared screen space with veteran actress Kirron Kher and rapper Badshah in the ninth season.
