Dhruvi Patel, an Indian-origin engineering student from the USA, was crowned the Miss India Worldwide 2024 last night. For the uninitiated, this is the longest-running Indian pageant outside the country. The beauty pageant is hosted every year by the New York-based India Festival Committee, an organisation led by Indian-Americans Neelam and Dharmatma Saran.

After her crowning at the New Jersey event, she said, "Winning Miss India Worldwide is such an incredible honour. It's more than a crown¡ªit represents my heritage, my values, and the opportunity to inspire others on a global scale," as per PTI.
While the young diva must be elated with her new accomplishment, this is a regular at winning beauty pageants. Last year, she was crowned India New England and has also won the title of Miss Rhode Island. Here's all you need to know about Dhruvi and her impressive accomplishments.

Dhruvi Patel is of Gujarati descent and is a computer information system student from Quinnipiac University. Somewhat of an Instagram influencer, Patel has 18.7k followers with whom she regularly shares updates about her life.
She also runs a non-profit organisation called 3DCharities and has been known to dedicate her time to volunteering. She regularly participates in food drives and fundraising efforts while running campaigns for the needy.
She runs the charity with her siblings Dhriti and Darsh and has organised several campaigns in Vadodara. She also regularly donates to charities like Feeding America and UNICEF.
According to her Instagram profile, Dhruvi has a vested interest in sports and often cheers for the team, live from the stadium. She is always a fitness enthusiast and regularly goes to the gym or for a swimming session.
