1. Words Literature Festival, New Delhi, October 2, 2019.
A festival that celebrates non-violence through various forms of art & literature is open for all. 2. Dekh Behen Play, Mumbai, October 2.
Starring the web-series sensation, Mithila Palkar, this play with an all-woman cast has been getting excellent views by critics and audiences alike. The light-hearted plot involves five bridesmaids, who are catching up a few hours before they are supposed to perform an item number at the sangeet function of a friend¡¯s big fat Delhi wedding. What happens during that catch-up? You'll have to watch this play to find out!
3. Open Air Cinema, Rom Com Weekend, Pune, October 4-6.

4. Ananya Birla India Tour 2019 - Multiple Cities, October 9-23.

6. Jodhpur Rajasthan International Folk Festival, October 10-14.
Rajasthan International Folk Festival is an annual music and art festival organized to promote traditional folk music and arts held at Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The majestic Mehrangarh Fort will play host to over 250 artists at the 12th edition of Jodhpur RIFF under the brightest full moon of the year. Music plays a key role in the transmission of cultural heritage and mirrors the society that we live in. And more so, it¡¯s root and traditional forms. This year is no exception: an unusual musical alliance between Rajasthani and Irish musicians called the ancient Armenian duduk (a double reed, woodwind instrument) played by maestro Emmanuel Hovhannisyan in collaboration with Swiss-based Authentic Light Orchestra lead by Valeri Tolstov and Veronika Stalder; maestros Ballake Sissoko from Mali on the kora, the ghatam legend Padma Bhushan T.H.Vikku Vinayakram and the incredible Muzikas from Hungary.

8. The Great Indian October Fest, Bengaluru, October 18-20.
The Great Indian October fest set up in 2005 has become a yearly tradition for the city with unrecorded music, extraordinary nourishment and relentless fun. The three-day fest pulls in more than 65,000 people, making it the India's greatest yearly lager celebration. Concerning music, look out for reggae ace Apache Indian, heartfelt Raghu Dixit Project with Nritarutya, Bollywood sensation Benny Dayal and some more.
9. French Food Festival, Puducherry, October 25-27.
Aimed at bringing out the essence and authenticity of Puducherry by having stalls with French, Indo-French, Vietnamese and Creole food, this festival is bound to appeal to every foodie out there.
