The study titled, Motivations to Enhance One¡¯s Facial Hair: Affiliation, Rivalry, and Stress, was conducted by researchers at the University of Silesia in Poland and the University of Padova in Italy. The study includes a survey of 414 men between the ages of 18-40, who wore a range of facial hair, about their 'social motivations'.
