Say Hello To These Organic Restaurants That Are Spurring A Culinary Revolution In India
We've always known that organic food has always been an healthier option for the body.
They are lacking in pesticides, growth hormones and other harmful chemicals making them the top choice for anyone who wants to eat a clean and solid plant-food based diet.
And since we all are striving to look ageless and feel fit, making the switch to cleaner eating comes as the next natural step. But only if it was so easy to get your hands on the best produce or other locally sourced ingredients, right?
Consumers have a general distrust of the source of most produce available to us today and that's why eating packaged food is just easier.
But let's not lose hope. A group of restaurateurs and chefs are unleashing a new culinary movement: farm to table.
Essentially, instead of having a pre-fixed menu, these restaurants either have their own small scale organic farms or have tied up with farms that grow produce in the most ethical way possible. Whatever is then the best produce, is served then and there to customers. These restaurants then have a season menu that changes everyday or in a few weeks.
Here, we've listed a few restaurants around the country that are driven by one philosophy: farm to table.
And the best part? This also marks a genuine movement towards sustainability.

An eatery driven by local produce, NicoCaara aims to glamourise locally grown and naturally produced ingredients. What's on offer? Farm-to-table tapas-style menu that will have the biggest skeptics licking their plates clean. The food is so fresh that when you order their burrata salad, it will come served with a cape gooseberry salsa that was likely harvested in owner Ambika Seth's farm.
